Portland Open Studios is a member of the Guild Council of the Museum of Contemporary Craft which fosters communication among the craft guilds. Many Portland Open Studios artists also participate in one of the other guilds. Exhibiting at the museum gives us a chance to highlight the artists who use craft media and techniques in both traditional and experimental ways.
