My current work is primarily mixed-media collage utilizing acrylic paint, tissue and other papers, hand drawn or transferred images and metallic embellishment.  I strive to create complex layers of color and detail which incorporate images from my childhood, training as a biologist and  nature journals  kept over the past 20 years.
