I have a strong interest in the excavation of vintage and discarded printed materials. These materials serve as the base of and inspiration for the compositions that ensue. I revel in the contrast of the printed materials next to the painted and hand drawn. I feel in some small way I am preserving the memory of the tactile printed word as it slowly becomes a relic of another time.
